Web Banner Re-edit For Review

Included are some shots from quite a few years ago. We are unsure if these shots are able to be used, but they do show things that have not been shot recently. One shot of the tai chi has been previously rejected by Ceilia, but we are unsure if the reason for that is syill relevant, so have included the shot as we feel it works really well.

Cinema Commercials

Following are two initial script ideas for the Renaissance Cinema Commercial based on the concept of “Freedom”

As mentioned in our meeting the filming and quick editing technique will be based on the framing technique used in ‘Mad Max’:

https://vimeo.com/129314425

As you can see the important visual information is kept in one spot, the center of the frame, This helps the viewer to quickly comprehend what is happening, as the action is always in the same spot. The editing will be very fast paced, which enables us to put in a lot of content

The final ‘tag line’ and the final audio of the video culminates in the word ‘Freedom’

Married Couple - The Visit

Cinema 30 Sec

(Keith and Desley???)

The time flashes on the screen - 6.55am.

Energetic music starts

V/o Keith:  We have Desley's family coming over for dinner.

We see Keith leaving the house and walking down the road with shopping cart and waving to the neighbors.

V/o Keith: I had to pop down the shops to buy a few extra things for Desley. Then I had to return a spanner set I borrowed from Ted.

We See Keith in the workshop with other men chatting and laughing while they work.

V/o Keith: I usually have water aerobics in the mornings but today I’ve been invited to tryout Mahjhong

Cut from Keith in the pool to him playing Mahjhong

V/o Keith: Gary’s team was a player short, so a quick couple of games, then back to help Desley with the baking.

We See Keith playing Bowls or Crochet and then in the kitchen with Desley. He puts his finger into the mixture to take a sneaky taste but Desley slaps his wrist.

V/o Keith: A quick run to the hardware for some glue to fix my granddaughters bike….

Keith wandering to Bunnings, then gluing handlebar streamers to a pink bike.

V/o Keith: and then back to finish helping Desley

Keith sneaks a biscuit from the cooling rack only to be disciplined once again by Desley

Single Female - Moving In

Cinema 30 Sec

(Sandie???)

We see the removalist truck pull up in front of the house. Sandie standing in front of a big house by herself with a pot plant in her arm ready to go.

V/O Sandie: I had organised the truck to arrive at 6:55am.

Split screen - Sandie on the phone with one of the Renaissance staff and then cut to Sandie in empty villa with notepad and tape measure in hand.

V/O Sandie: The girls at Renaissance had given me the details of a reliable removalist and let me measure the villa beforehand.

Cut to shot of removalist taking stuff into her new villa.

V/O Sandie: Whilst I said goodbye to the old place, the removalists were already, starting to move me in at Renaissance.

Action of her being surprised by neighbours with some cake and tea. Shot of the removalists being invited for a cup of tea (to show it is a friendly external supplier)

V/O Sandie: Renaissance had left big bins for me to throw away the moving boxes and my new neighbours had already made me some morning tea.

Renaissance staff helping with alarm. Gardeners putting moving boxes in bin. Sandie in kitchen putting a couple of things into a cupboard then we see Sandie putting up pictures of her family on the wall.

V/O Sandie:  Then the staff helped set up the security alarm and the gardeners took away all the boxes and rubbish for me.

Sandie putting up her feet, with a cup of tea. And looks at the pot plant from the first scene.

V/O Sandie, whispers to herself, in a very relaxed voice: Ahhhhhhhh, Freedom.
